In the framework of the temperary exhibition Knock on Wood!
Woodstock will be a theme day about timber and the forest not to be missed.
The day is chock-full of activities of all sorts. Take part in the workshop Making music with wooden instruments, listen to the forest tales of an professional African storyteller, let your children enjoy the handicrafts and participatory activities.
Measure your ingenuity and the speed of your fingers against your friends with an African board game, or allow an enthusiastic expert to lure you on a walk through the beautiful park of Tervuren. Learn to turn wood in the job-shop, study it through a microscope, discover whether you would like to be restorer, a tree surgeon, an environmental campaigner, . . .
The Congolese group La Sanza, invited as part of the Yambi project, will provide added highlights with its performances and workshops.
