YOUR OWN COLOURFUL STATUS UPDATE ON THE PERIMETER FENCE

From 23 September until 1 October 2011 you could participate in our facebook campaign Your own colourful status update on the perimeter fence

How did it work?
In anticipation of the renovation works we placed a large perimeter fence, the Wall, around the museum building and for the following ten days a different  artist was let loose on it each day.
Inspired by the UNCENSORED exhibition but also by your stories, it made for a colossal mural.
You could take part in this facebook event by placing your wall post on www.facebook.com/AfricaMuseumTervuren between 22 September 2pm and 1 October 2pm (2011).
Then your message got painted on the Wall around the museum. A short film (the 'making of") was made about this which you could share with your friends via facebook, email etc.
The mural can still be admired during the renovation works.

Watch the films of the colourful status updates on the dedicated UNCENSORED site : http://uncensored.africamuseum.be
