The Belgo-Congolese actor and painter Mufuki Mukuna was born in Brussels in 1973. He studied painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels.
With oil paint and canvas he creates a whole world in which he explores the boundaries of figurative painting. He obtained his inspiration from the urban universe and film. He paints human tales, in a nocturnal palette that is colourful, Western and African. His paintings are witty, brutal and animate, painful and bewitching.
