The RMCA’s library network consists of a Central Library and 10 sublibraries, with their own reading room or a space where the works can be consulted, which are linked to the scientific disciplines.

Central library

  • In the central library you can access collections from the central library, the collections of Ethnography, Social Anthropology and make use of the Central reading room.

Sublibraries

Alongside the central library several sublibraries exist (see: map of the buildings).
The catalogue of these sublibraries is available via Libis.

The Library of Independent Congo catalogue includes not only books (also listed in Libis for post-2007 works), but also magazine articles, documents, dissertations, theses, press kits, archives, maps, and the inventory of the library’s periodicals and newspapers.

    Open from Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon and from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Open on Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.
