Would you like to offer the museum a collection, an object or specimens?
The AfricaMuseum has an Acquisitions Committee which assesses new proposals.
The museum's acquisitions must meet certain conditions:
- They must comply with current legal and ethical requirements, such as those prescribed by international organisations such as ICOM, UNESCO and CITES.
- They must be documented - an object or specimen with no identification or data of origin is of little or no value to a scientific institution!
- The size and condition of the objects or specimens must be such that the museum can preserve them over the long term.
If your proposal meets these criteria, please send an email to:
Any questions that do not concern the collections or archives will not receive a response via this email address.
Attention! Your questions will only be answered after the opening of our new museum.
