  • Internships in Conservation and restoration
    We are always on the look for enthusiastic interns for internships of at least 3 months. We offer two internship opportunities:
    • one specifically for MA students in conservation and restoration
    • one for students in Collection management and preventive conservation.

  • Internships in organology and musicology
    We are always on the look for enthusiastic interns for internships of at least 3 months. We offer two internship opportunities:
    • one for MA students in Anthropology
    • one for students in Art History and Archaeology, orientation Musicology.

Grants for African students and researchers

Thanks to the support of the Belgian Development Cooperation agency (DGD), we have grants for group internships in various disciplines.

These internships are for young African scientists.

Below are just a few examples of the training courses we have organised. Training courses organised from 01/01/2024 will be posted on this site as soon as the calls for applications are open. 

  • Pollinating flies

    Training course in Tanzania on the taxonomy and systematics of African pollinating flies.

  • Fruit fly pests

    Advanced tools for the monitoring and identification of African fruit fly pests.

  • FormARCH

    Intensive professional development training in archival sciences for candidates from Burundi, DR Congo and Rwanda.

  • ImmARCH

    Intensive professional development training in historical archival research for Masters and PhD students from Burundi, DR Congo and Rwanda.
