The Editors:
Didier PAUGY and Christian LÉVÊQUE are research directors at IRD. They have published numerous works on the systematics, distribution, and ecology of West African fresh water fishes, and expanded the collections of the MNHN in Paris. Olga OTERO is a professorial lecturer at the University of Poitiers (Institute of Paleoprimatology, Human Paleontology: Evolution and Paleoenvironments). She studies the evolution and diversification of African fishes to reconstruct the relationships between their spread, diversification, and the paleoenvironment.

Les éditeurs
Didier PAUGY et Christian LÉVÊQUE sont directeurs de recherche à l'IRD. Ils ont publié de nombreux ouvrages sur la systématique, la répartition et l'écologie des poissons d'eaux douces ouest-africains, et ont alimenté les collections du MNHN de Paris. Olga OTERO est maître de conférences à l'université de Poitiers (Institut de Paléoprimatologie, Paléontologie humaine : Évolution et Paléoenvironnements). Elle étudie l'évolution et la diversification des poissons africains pour reconstituer les relations entre leur dispersion, leur diversification et le paléoenvironnement.

De editors
Didier PAUGY en Christian LÉVÊQUE zijn onderzoeksdirecteurs bij het IRD. Ze hebben talrijke boeken uitgegeven over de systematiek, verspreiding en ecologie van West-Afrikaanse zoetwatervissen en hebben de collecties van het MNHN in Parijs uitgebreid. Olga OTERO is hoogleraar aan de universiteit van Poitiers (Instituut voor Paleoprimatologie, Menselijke paleontologie, Evolutie en Paleomilieus). Ze bestudeert de evolutie en diversificatie van Afrikaanse vissen om zo het verband aan te tonen tussen hun spreiding, diversificatie en het paleomilieu.
