| Notice : | Runoff in a town can be very severe and cause inundations and floods. They are dangerous because of the high speed of the current. On the 6th of october 2009, such a sheet flood, runoff flood affected the town of Butembo after an exceptional rain and caused a lot of material damage. Natural hazard. Natural risk. |
