Notice : A gully head is often preceeded from inside the runon area by a rill with potholes in the bottom. Gully head opens where thr rill cuts through the bottom of the harder soil above the deeply weathered and soft bedrock. Runoff can be catastrophic. Natural hazard. Natural risk.
