Several plates used by the Lebègue publishing house to illustrate the book by Camille Coquilhat "Sur le Haut-Congo", Paris, 1888 are signed "AMAND". This may indicate that the draftsman had to rework the sketches of Coquilhat. We know nothing about the mysterious "AMAND".
