Legend: During the closing ceremony of the gaza wuli, the young initiates hold a wooden disc in their mouths, the tuma. This disc, decorated with coloured patterns, symbolises the silence which they have to observe regarding the secrets of the initiation. The headgear they wear is called do gere.
