Legend: Young girl at the end of the exclusion period of several months (nzani) during which she learned the dances. ‘Nzani’ girls are rubbed with red ngula powder and are overloaded with jewellery.

Original legend: Au territoire de Budja à Bumba. Jeune fille portant des colliers de perles et des dents de léopard. Le Kumu ou chef de l'Ebubu porte comme marque de sa dignité deux dents de léopard à l'un de ses nombreux colliers. Les filles dus Nzani sont toujours enduites de la tête aux pieds de Ngula et richement couvertes de bijoux.
