Morphological and molecular identification of African fruit fly pests
Systematic revisions, based on morphological characters of the adults, of several frugivorous tephritid genera have revealed species complexes such as the FAR complex or the cosyra species complex in the genus Ceratitis. Through molecular analyses, we try to demarcate the species boundaries and the interspecific relationships. Also we intend to compare phylogenies based on morphological and molecular characters.
