On the observation of the predation of Tapinesthis inermis (Simon, 1882) (Araneae, Oonopidae) on a Psocoptera and French distribution updated Tapinesthis inermis (Simon, 1882) is a relatively poorly observed spider and its hunting preference was so far unknown. Here we report the predation of a young stage of Psocoptera Loensia variegata (Latreille, 1799) by T. inermis, as well as a brief description of the biotope and biocoenosis. The distribution of T. inermis in France is updated.
