During two independent trips to Turkey, in September 2012 and April 2019, several specimens of Zodarion Thorell, 1881 were collected in the province of Antalya. Some of them were previously mistakenly attributed to Zodarion thoni Nosek, 1905. Their (re)examination confirmed the presence of Zodarion nigrifemur Caporiacco, 1948, another species of the so-called thoni group. The species is considered new to the araneofauna of Turkey, and a brief description is presented, accompanied by high-definition illustrations.
