DARIAH
Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities
DARIAH is a pan-european infrastructure for arts and humanities scholars working with computational methods. It supports digital research as well as the teaching of digital research methods. As a Founding Member of DARIAH-EU, the aim of DARIAH-BE is to offer a sustainable portfolio of services enabling digital scholarship in the arts and humanities in Belgium. To realise this, partner institutions are encouraged to establish Digital Humanities Research Centres which together form a humanities-specific digital ecosystem, offering services both within their own institutions and to other institutions in Belgium and beyond.

EU Member States, Associated Countries and Intergovernmental associationsDARIAH Belgium is made up of 13 Partner Institutions from across the country including 7 universities: 3 Dutch-speaking universities in Flanders (Ghent, Leuven and Antwerp), 2 French-language universities in Louvain-La-Neuve and Liege) as well as 2 universities in Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles) and several Federal Scientific Institutions, which offer internal and external researchers access to a wealth of artistic, historic and scientific collections andrelated research tools (Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage, Royal Library of Belgium, State Archives of Belgium, Royal Museum for Central Africa, Royal Museums for Art and Art History, Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium are DARIAH-BE Partner Institutions).
