Notice : | This debris cone is not a thick body of rock debris, but a veneer of some tens of centimetres of debris, resting on a rocky surface of in situ rock. Many so-called debris cones in desertic and semi-desertic conditions are rather structural surfaces than depositional ones. Look to the halophytic temporary desert vegetation at the edge of the wadi bed. |
