Notice : | Gullies tend to incise vertically. They endanger the houses in the vicinity. In this case the gully is stabilized by means of a mantle in concrete. The steps are constructed to brake the erosive force of the water during rainstorms. The runoff response in a town to rainfall is much higher than in a rural environment. This gives rise to inundations in the valleys, more important than before. Flood. Natural hazard. Natural risk |
