Notice : | Looking upstream. Hogback - flatirons. Wadi Sodmein streams through a gap in the SW limb of the synclinal valley of Nakheil. During recent geological times, the river was aggrading and the valley is nearly choked by gravel bedload. The scrub vegetation developed quickly after some flow event but is now drying. When dry enough, the scrubs will break of their stem and will be dispersed by wind. Aeolian activities. |
