Immersion in Historical Archives and Collections
Every other year, the Colonial History Section of the RMCA organizes an Archive Immersion Program for researchers from Sub-Saharan countries, aged under 45, holding a Master’s Degree in Human Sciences and registered in a Pre-Doctoral, Doctoral or Post-Doctoral University Program.
During their one-month residence, the objective is for them to study the Museum’s collections and historical archives from a new perspective.
Three-month Research Follow up:
Following up on this Program, up to three of these selected students are further invited for a Three-Month Research and Writing Residence at the RMCA.
In each case, the selected candidates are offered a grant covering transportation, housing and subsistence costs.
