Opening CollectionsLAB
On 19 May, the AfricaMuseum will open its brand-new CollectionsLAB, a viewing studio where you can watch our experts examine and take care for the collection up close.
In this studio, you can see how the collections management team works on restoring and preserving objects from all over the world. Do you have any questions about restoration, conservation or how we protect our collections for the future? In the CollectionsLAB, you can ask our researchers and conservators directly. Come and have a look, discover, and be amazed by the scientific work behind the museum!
