We are always looking for motivated volunteers who want to support our daily work. Do you like working with people, are you spontaneous and are you available on a regular basis. Volunteers collection management

Are you motivated to contribute to the Collections Management Team at the AfricaMuseum in Tervuren? 

The Africa Museum is currently seeking 10 volunteers across two profiles: 
Profile 1: Volunteer Collections Management — Art Handler / Registrar 
Profile 2: Volunteer Conservator-Restorer — Ethnographic Collections

If you come from a migrant, bicultural, or diaspora background and have a working knowledge of French, Dutch, or English, register now!

Start: April 2026
Commitment: Minimum 1 day per week for at least 3 months

This opportunity is designed for those who are motivated to learn, contribute, and engage actively in a collaborative environment and is done in partnership with MARVI, an Erasmus+ funded project focused on the inclusion of migrant, bicultural, and diaspora voices in volunteering within museums and cultural institutions.
