Training on Belgian-Congolese colonial history for (future) primary school teachers
.jpg)
Would you like to teach colonial history in the classroom? Then this training is for you.
It provides the essential historical background needed to discuss Belgian colonisation in the classroom and offers interactive educational tools to address this complex topic in an age-appropriate way. You will also have the opportunity to discover the new interactive tour “Colonial History”, developed for pupils in the 5th and 6th years of primary school.
As colonial history is set to play an increasingly important role in school curricula in the coming years, this training will help you stay ahead of these developments and approach the topic with confidence. A decolonial and participatory approach to exploring the challenges of the past and their contemporary relevance.
