The sculptures of Jane Tercafs (1898-1944)

Title: The sculptures of Jane Tercafs (1898-1944)
Producer: Jane Tercafs (°1898 - †1944)
Theme: portrait
Legend: Jane Tercafs, who was very keen on sculpting and modelling the local clay in the region where she was staying, noted that she had a great deal of difficulty in having the right modelling clay brought to her due to the prohibitions imposed. She believed this had something to do with virility and sexuality. We do not know how she then managed to produce these sculpted portraits. Was she possibly inspired by photographs?
