The "Collège exécutif Général" was inaugurated on 14 March 1960. The representatives of the six provinces were: Joseph Kasa-Vubu of the Abako, Patrice Lumumba of MNC/L, Anicet Kashamura of CEREA, Paul Bolya of PNP, Remy Mwamba of Balubakat and Pierre Nyangwile of MNC/Kalonji.

Il a été accueilli par les membres du Collège Exécutif et de son Président M.H.A. Cornelis, Gouverneur Général du Congo Belge et du Ruanda-Urundi.
