| Locality : | Nyakivumba, Bujumbura |
| Country : | Burundi |
| Region - tribe : | Bujumbura |
| Physiographic region : | Rift-Tanganyika |
| Notice : | The Nyakivumba receives a lot of supplementary discharge as a result of new road building, upslope. The river incision steepens the slopes which are often affected by instabilities and mass movements. This is a typical degraded landscape in the vicinity of Bujumbura, where for several reasons soil and water conservation measures are not taken. |
