Congo Biodiversity Initiative
The Congo Basin is home to the second largest rainforest in the world. Conservation of this region’s unique biodiversity is vital, not only for its intrinsic ecological importance but also the crucial role it plays in generating income for national and local economies. Through structural support, and scientific training and research, the Congo Biodiversity Initiative wants to help increase and spread knowledge about the natural diversity that exists in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
