PROJET S1_RDC_CRGM: Strengthening of the research and geological service capacity of the Centre de Recherches géologiques et minières in the DRC
This project represents the last two years of the project to strengthen the research capacity and geological service of the CRGM through joint scientific research with the RMCA at a higher scientific level than previously. The research activities for this project focus on four geological topics. Study of the geological context of the cross-border region of the Malebo Pool (Kinshasa and Brazzaville) and mapping. Mineralogical and geochemical study of pegmatites in the Boma region. Study of the Mao Massif (Bas-Congo, DRC). Study of the lower diamictite : comparison between the regions of Kimuaka, Sansikwa and Kasi (Bas-Congo, DRC). The project also includes the creation of a database with the search functionality containing all the collected data within the framework of the project.
