After a 5-year renovation, the Africa Museum in Tervuren has reopened its doors, introducing new exhibition forms. Inside, we meet groups of visitors exchanging views with their guides, but also people exploring on their own. Everyday museumgoers shed light on a place where, despite its new narrative, the past doesn’t seem to pass.
