Sauf le passé
The AfricaMuseum invites you to a screening of Sanaz Azari’s documentary.
How do you reimagine a museum that was built over a century ago as part of colonial propaganda? After a 5-year renovation, the Africa Museum in Tervuren has reopened its doors, introducing new exhibition forms. Inside, we meet groups of visitors exchanging views with their guides, but also people exploring on their own. Everyday museumgoers shed light on a place where, despite its new narrative, the past doesn’t seem to pass.
