Siku Ya Kivu: A Cultural Day on Congo
To mark the International Day of Peace (21 September), Komala and MAQOM Legacy, in collaboration with the AfricaMuseum, invite you to the event ‘Siku Ya Kivu’ – A Day About Kivu.

Spend an afternoon celebrating Kivu through language, music, and encounters that highlight the cultural richness of this region in eastern Congo marked by years of conflict.
Through exchanges, smells, sounds, and images, Siku Ya Kivu brings the diversity of Kivu to life. Come and discover the languages and experience music as a living heritage and a source of connection.
