It was reported that the intoxication due to N. tabacum is terrifying in two ways: exciting and paralyzing. The patients would go into a coma for many days and some die in the process.

Cotton wool impregnated with this product is put into the cavity twice a day (morning and evening) for a maximum of 7 days or whenever the person feels the pain.
