| Notice : | The dunes in front of the escarpment carry grassy vegetation and trees. The dune field is fixed. The trees are decimated, on the verge of destruction. The lower escarpment (shelter) in Koutiala sandstone, the upper part (resitent, roof) in Bandiagara sandstone. |
