Year : | 1995 |
Locality : | Nakheil |
Country : | Egypt |

Physiographic region : | Desert-Red Sea Mountains |
Notice : | The Wadi in the foreground incises the confluent wadi coming from behind. The latter incises the one coming from the left from between the two mountains. This perched character of wadis is due to the fact that wadis of higher hierarchical order flow longer than wadis of lower hierarchical order and still erode when the wadi of lower order has already stopped to erode. The process is active during the winter storms in the area. |
